ABOUT
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
The capital
of the state of Maryland, Annapolis is located on the Chesapeake
Bay, south of Baltimore and east of Washington DC The city is
loaded with colonial history, quaint shops, excellent restaurants,
and is home to the United States Naval Academy. In addition to
being the state capital, Annapolis is also referred to as the
Sailing Capital of the World because of its proximity to the
water and numerous marinas and yacht clubs.
Annapolis
is located just West of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the gateway
to all points east - Ocean City, Rehoboth Beach, Assateague Island
- and more destinations along the Mid-Atlantic Seaboard. For this
reason and many others, Annapolis is a popular stopping point
for those from Washington DC, Baltimore, and Northern Virginia,
who travel Route 50 East to the beach during the summer months.
Griffin's West is located right off of Route 50, at the intersection
of Route 2 and West Street. Those visiting downtown Annapolis
will want to check out Griffin's City Dock restaurant, which you
